Мy biography is quite typical for those, who were born in the USSR. I was born in Kirovsk near Lugansk June 4, 1966.
I started my studying in the Lugansk Art College in 1982. I graduated it in 1986 and I joined the Soviet Army. Fortune smiled me in 1988, when just after the end of my term in the army, I entered the Kiev Art Institute in the painting department, in the studio of Professor Shatalin.
I became interested in painting battle yet in the Lugansk Art College. The final choice was made at the Art Academy which I graduated in 1995.
I’ve taken part in art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad since the beginning of 1990s.
Four years, from 1996 to 2000, I spent on trips abroad: Austria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia.
I became a member of the Artists Union of Ukraine in 2000.
I've drawn a lot of paintings on request of the State Museum of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for many years.
My paintings were purchased by citizens of many countries.

Scientific popular book “Ukrainian victory. The Cossack’s era” was published in 2009. This book introduces readers the glorious times of the Ukrainian Cossacks with a history of victorious campaigns of the Ukrainian Cossacks, with their traditions and life.
Paintings and illustrations by Andrey Serebryakov, made this book especially interesting for the reader. Illustrations provide brightness and visibility to the events mentioned in the book. Andrey Serebryakov’s participation in the work on this book seems absolutely natural.
The reason is that the main theme of his art is the theme battles of the Ukrainian Cossacks.
The work of battle-artist needs a lot of time not only to write the painting, but also for detailed studying of the historical events connected with the plot of future painting. The painting, depicting a particular moment of our past, has to be historically true in the smallest detail, including elements of clothing, weapons, and landscapes. Paintings by Andrey Serebryakov, in this sense can be seen not only as art but also as a visual historical guide.
The book "Ukrainian victory. The Cossack’s Age" tells about battles of Ukrainian Cossacks for the period from 1514 to 1659. Illustrations to these battlefields convey powerful emotional battle load of heroism and courage during the fight between opponents. Serebryakov’s experiment, in which the graphic scheme of movement of armies were recreated in the form of Engraving image, is really noteworthy.
