Vlasov Vladimir Grigorievich
1927 – 1999

Vladimir Vlasov was born on February 5, 1927 in Odessa.
In 1947 he graduated from the Odessa Art School, where his teachers were L.Muchnik, N.Pavlyuk, N.Shelyuto.
Later he continued his education at the Moscow Institute of Art, where his teacher was D. Mochalsky.
After graduation, the artist returned to Odessa.
Since 1954, he took an active part in the city, in national and international art exhibitions.
Vlasov became a member of the Union of Artists of USSR in 1957.
Vlasov is an author of numerous landscapes, portraits and thematic paintings.
In 1972 he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of the USSR."
Artworks of Vlasov are represented at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Odessa Art Museum, in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
